Grape

This grape originally comes from Burgundy. This grape is also known by the names Pinot Grigio, Malvoisie and Grauburgunder. The Pinot Gris grape does well in cooler wine climates. With deep dry limestone soils, it can grow perfectly.

Taste and foodpairing

This wine has full grassy aromas of ripe exotic fruit. As overtones, pineapple, mango and lychee in particular show up. The Pinot Gris pairs beautifully with Asian cuisine but is also delicious with pasta or Risotto.
